You may be looking for a shock tab that works on most Dana 44 ball joint-style axles. If you are, we have what you’re looking for. You will find these tabs are a clean way to gusset the upper portion of the C while additionally providing you a mounting point for a shock at the same time. Are you worried about clearance? Don’t be! We have thoughtfully designed these tabs to clear most radius arm setups & leaf-sprung axles. Therefore there is only some minor grinding, depending on casting variations. As a result, saving you time to move on to another part of the build.
Additionally, to help with your build, we’ve included a 1/4″ center hole. This allows you to drill the opening to the desired size. Each tab comes to you cut from 1/4″ thick raw HRPO steel.
