The Keyhole Double Banjo Eye Plate is an efficient way to provide additional tie down points. These plates work well with 3/8″ chain.
Upon purchase you’re able to weld or bolt these into place. Cut from 3/8″ HRPO steel and left raw. Each plate is 5.5″ x 5.5″. The double slots or bunny ears allow for flexibility when chaining down. Once the chain is slid into the slot it’s unable to move because the surrounding links are perpendicular. This allows for a solid and safe hold. Paint the plates once installed for high visibility or to match a color scheme.
The plate would be great addition to a trailer build. Place these exactly where needed and provide a robust chain point. Sold individually. Only be used with chain. Additionally repair and replace worn out plates on existing trailers if needed. Drill holes to accept bolts to help quickly swap out down the road.
