Description
The 99-04 Superduty Dana 60 weld-on high steer arms are laser cut from 1/4″ HRPO steel in-house in Interlochen, MI. Built for the 1-ton axle swap and anyone running full hydro steering on the 99-04 Dana 60. Whether you’re running crossover or going full hydro, this kit gives you the geometry and the strength the platform needs.
Engineered for Strength
- The gusseted design maximizes surface area on the factory steering knuckle for a rock-solid installation.
- Double shear mounting on all steering linkages, delivering superior stability and strength.
- 2″ inside rod end mounting width accommodates 3/4″ or 7/8″ rod ends with 3/4″ bolt holes.
- A 3/4″ grade 8 tie-in bolt and 1.25″ x .250″ weld-in sleeves tie directly into the stock steering arm, reinforcing the entire knuckle.
Optimized Steering Performance
These arms are designed to provide maximum steering angle while maintaining critical Ackermann steering geometry with stock 1480 u-joints. The raised steering linkage position keeps everything out of harm’s way on the trail and improves steering angles for crossover setups — two real wins for any serious dana 60 high steer build.
The 99-04 Superduty Dana 60 weld-on high steer arm kit is a pair — both driver and passenger side arms — available in:
- Crossover steering setup with a tie rod and drag link for traditional steering box setups.
- Full hydraulic steering setup for those only needing a single tie rod point.
If you’re swapping in a 99-04 Super Duty axle, check out the 99-04 Super Duty Dana 60 Low Profile Truss and the fabrication brackets — both belong on the same build.
