Description
Building a roll cage in your TJ or LJ starts here — a pair of 3/16″ laser-cut steel B-pillar cage mounts that bolt directly into the factory locations, giving your B-pillar tube a solid, properly positioned weld surface without fabricating a mount from scratch.
What They Are
These are L-shaped base flanges — one left, one right — laser cut from 3/16″ steel and CNC bent to follow the geometry of the TJ’s B-pillar area. The upright lip uses two factory bolt holes on the side wall; the base plate picks up two more on the floor. Four factory bolts total lock the mount in place. The slotted holes are sized to account for real-world variation in factory hole locations across the TJ production run — they’re not adjustable in the tuning sense, just honest about the fact that factory tolerances aren’t perfect and your bolts should drop in clean every time.
Once the mount is bolted in, you’ve got a flat, 3/16″ steel weld pad to land your B-pillar tube on. Position your tube where your cage design calls for it and weld it down. That’s the whole job.
Fitment
Fits 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2004–2006 LJ (Unlimited). Uses the factory B-pillar bolt hole locations — no drilling, no cutting, no modification to the tub.
What’s Included
- 2 base flanges — 1 left, 1 right
- Raw steel finish, ready to weld and finish as you see fit
- Hardware not included — uses factory bolts
Why These Exist
Most TJ builders doing their own cage end up spending time fabricating a floor mount that they could have spent on the cage itself. These plates handle the anchor point so you can focus on the tube work. Laser cut and CNC bent in-house in Interlochen, MI.
