Description

This universal transmission mount gives you a wide, flat pad for a transmission or transfer case. It’s laser cut from 3/16″ steel and ships blank, so you drill the pattern your build needs.

Specs and Sizing

The specs stay simple, which is why this part works on so many builds.

• Material: 3/16″ steel. So it handles drivetrain load without flexing under the mount.
• Mounting pad: 5.8″ wide by 2″ deep. So you get real surface area for your mount pattern.
• The pad ships blank with no holes. That means you drill to match whatever mount you run.
• Finish: raw steel, ready to weld. Because of that, you skip prepping before welding.
• We laser cut, sand, and bend every one. So the edges arrive clean and ready to finish.
• Each one ships individually.

Universal Transmission Mount — Round Tube or Flat Mount

Two versions cover two different crossmembers. So pick based on what you’re welding to.

• Round Tube sits flush on 1.75″ OD tube. The 2.5″ figure runs from the center of the tube.
• Flat Mount welds to a flat surface. So a square tube crossmember or a plate works fine.

Where It Gets Used

Most builders reach for this when they need a transmission mount on a tube crossmember. It also handles a transfer case mount just as well. And since the pad ships blank, it works as a general mounting pad too. So anywhere your build needs a wide, strong pad, this covers it.

Install Notes

Installation stays simple. You weld the pad to your crossmember, then drill for your mount. When you run larger or smaller tube, minor grinding gets it seated.
