Description
Jeep TJ Roll Cage Stanchions let you build the front section of a roll cage on your 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ without cutting through the stock dash — a clean solution for builders who want full cage support while keeping the interior intact. This pair of laser-cut and CNC-formed 3/16″ steel plates ties into the Jeep’s body and floor, giving you a solid weld-on foundation to run a dash bar across from driver to passenger side, then fabricate your A-pillars up from there.
Specs:
- Material: 3/16″ steel plate
- Process: Laser cut and CNC formed
- Sold as: Pair (left and right)
- Finish: Raw steel, ready for welding
Fitment:
Fits 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ (Unlimited). Designed to clear the factory dash.
How It Works:
Each stanchion ships as individual laser-cut pieces that you weld together before installation. Once assembled, the stanchions sit tight against the factory dash — close enough that your stock door panels close. The stanchion is designed for up to 2″ O.D. tube, so whether you’re building a standard trail cage or going bigger, these work with your tubing choice. Once the stanchions are welded together, you run a dash bar connecting driver to passenger side, then build your A-pillars up to meet it. It’s a straightforward sequence that gives the front of your cage a proper structural base — no dash cutting, no compromises.
Built for the TJ Builder:
These are the kind of parts that make a cage project go cleanly from the start. If you’re planning a full cage build or adding to a factory unit, having purpose-built stanchions means your geometry is right before you start bending tube. Laser-cut and CNC-formed in the USA, built specifically for the TJ platform.
If you’re building out the full cage, ORA also makes the TJ/LJ Windshield Roll Cage Tie-In Plate, the TJ B-Pillar Cage Mounts, and the TJ C-Pillar Cage Base Plate — the pieces that complete the rest of the cage structure.
