The Jeep TJ C-pillar cage base plate is a laser-cut 3/16″ steel mounting plate that bolts to the rear wheel well, giving you a clean weld surface to land your C-pillar cage tube on instead of welding directly to the tub sheet metal.
Each plate uses two slotted front holes to accommodate variation in factory tub bolt locations, plus two rear holes sized for a standard 3/8″ bolt — those require drilling the tub. Once bolted in place, weld your cage tube directly to the plate and you’re done.

Build Context
These save you the time of fabricating your own C-pillar flange from scratch. A second set of plates on the underside of the wheel well is a solid addition if you want to tie the cage into the frame — you can run a second pair of these for more surface area, or use our standard 2 hole flanges, which share the same 3.5″ bolt pattern as the two rear holes for a more compact option. Laser cut, sanded, and arrives clean and ready to go.
